This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a specialist manufacturing environment, supporting the heat treatment process and ensuring materials are received, processed, identified and despatched accurately whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and traceability. The Role Reporting to the Heat Treatment Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the Heat Treatment Department. You will be responsible for the safe movement, identification and processing of customer materials, ensuring full traceability throughout the heat treatment cycle and supporting operational efficiency within the department. The role offers full training on company procedures, materials handling equipment and safe systems of work. Key Responsibilities Receive and despatch materials, ensuring full traceability throughout the process. Accurately identify materials before and after heat treatment. Highlight and report any material discrepancies or anomalies to management. Prepare and dismantle furnace charges in line with heat treatment instructions and reports.
