The position involves operating furnaces, conducting quality checks, and supporting associated saw and materials-handling operations within a heavy manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely handle and move materials using overhead cranes and FLTs.Operate heat treatment furnaces, following detailed process instructions for metallurgical compliance.Assist with cutting and sawing of special alloys, remelt electrodes, and shafts.Operate and record results using a Brinell hardness testing machine.Program and monitor furnace control systems, recording data through SFDC systems.Carry out daily compliance and temperature checks.Support dispatching and material flow within the department.Maintain high standards of housekeeping and adhere strictly to Health and Safety policies.Participate in process improvement, proble...
