Stability / Longevity: Permanent Competitive Salary: DOE £14 - £16 per hour + shift allowance Hours: Double Days Benefits: Overtime at premium rates Cycle to Work Scheme Sick pay PLUS MANY MORE Your responsibilities include: Operating machines and furnaces that apply heat treatments to clean, harden, temper, and surface finish metal and make it ready for use in products Setting and adjusting Furnace temperatures and times according to specifications Working from engineering drawings to meet customer specifications Using manual measuring equipment, i.e., micrometre, verniers, and gauges Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate: Previous engineering/manufacturing background Experience in using heat treatment machines, surface finishing equipment, ovens, furnaces or similar machinery Comfortable working with chemicals Excellent attention to detail and able to learn processes Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and follow technical instructions ..... full job details .....
