Heat Treatment Inspector

MET are currently looking for a Heat Treatment Inspector for a client based in Halesowen!

Requirements:

• Inspect components before and after heat treatment processes.
• Verify heat treatment cycles, temperatures, soak times, and cooling methods against specifications.
• Review and validate furnace charts, process records, and certification documentation.
• Perform visual inspections for defects such as cracking, distortion, decarburisation, oxidation, or surface damage.
• Conduct hardness testing using approved methods (Rockwell, Brinell, Vickers, etc.).
• Use measuring equipment to check dimensions and tolerances.

Shifts:

• Monday to Thursday 3:30 pm to 12am and Friday 12pm to 6am

Pay:

• £12.71 plus 13.25 hours shift allowance per week so work 39 but paid for 52.25.
