THE OPPORTUNITY An established independent accountancy practice in Old Trafford is looking for an experienced Healthcare Personal Tax Specialist to join its specialist team. The practice has a long-established client base, with a particular focus on GPs, medical consultants, dentists, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with healthcare-sector tax experience who wants genuine autonomy, long-term client responsibility and the opportunity to become a key figure within an established practice. Working initially alongside the practice owner, you will gradually take responsibility for an established portfolio, becoming the trusted day-to-day adviser to your clients. There is also potential for the right individual to become involved in the long-term succession planning of the practice. THE ROLE You will have a strong focus on personal tax, alongside wider accounting and advisory responsibilities. KEY AREAS WILL INCLUDE Managing an established portfolio of healthcare clients Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns Providing personal tax advice and planning Working with GPs, dentists, pharmacists, consultants and other medical professionals Dealing with clients with varied income streams, investments and business interests Applying knowledge of healthcare-specific tax and accounting considerations Reviewing accounts and identifying tax or accounting issues Liaising with clients, HMRC and other stakeholders ..... full job details .....
