Contract: Freelance, ad-hoc assignments

The Role

As an End-Point Assessor, you will:

  • Conduct independent, final assessments of healthcare apprentices.

  • Use a range of methods including observations, discussions, and portfolio reviews.

  • Apply fair, consistent grading against apprenticeship standards.

  • Maintain high levels of accuracy and professionalism in reporting.

  • Participate in training and moderation sessions to ensure consistency across assessments.

  • Maternity Support

  • Diagnostic Imaging

  • Theatre Support

  • Allied Health Professions Therapy Support

  • Healthcare Support Worker (Level 2)

  • Assistant Practitioner (Level 5)

The Ideal Candidate

To succeed, you’ll bring:

  • 2–5 years of recent experience within healthcare (depending on the standard)

  • Professional registration (e.g. NMC PIN or equivalent for clinical routes)

  • Teaching/assessing qualifications such as A1, TAQA, CAVA, PGCE, or AET

  • An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
