Healthcare Domestic Attendants Louth

AA Euro Healthcare is currently recruiting Relief Domestic Assistants to work with HSE services across various healthcare settings. This role plays a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for service users, staff, and visitors in line with HSE and HIQA standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of wards, clinical areas, offices, toilets, and communal spaces
• Carry out cleaning duties in line with HSE cleaning schedules and protocols
• Adhere strictly to infection prevention and control procedures
• Dispose of waste correctly, including clinical and domestic waste
• Ensure a safe environment by following Health & Safety guidelines
• Proper use of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and PPE
• Report hazards, faults, or incidents to the appropriate supervisor
• Respect confidentiality and dignity of patients and service users at all times

Requirements

• Previous cleaning/domestic experience (healthcare preferred)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Awareness of health & safety practices
• Willingness to undergo Garda Vetting and provide 3 x employee written references.
• Eligible to work in Ireland without the need of sponsorship
• Current Manual Handling certificate
