Healthcare Assistant Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to provide 1:1 support to a young adult with complex needs, including Autism, ADHD, emotional distress, sleep difficulties, fixation around identity and independence, and behaviours that can be challenging. The role focuses on promoting emotional regulation, independence, safety, and overall wellbeing in a person-centred and respectful manner. Key Responsibilities: Provide consistent support in line with an individualised care and support plan Support emotional regulation and respond calmly to distress and challenging behaviour Encourage independence while maintaining appropriate boundaries and safety Assist with daily routines, including evening and sleep-related support where required Support communication, social interaction, and coping strategies Maintain accurate records and report concerns appropriately Work collaboratively with family members and professionals Use positive behaviour support (PBS) approaches at all times ..... full job details .....
