Key Responsibilities Patient Care and Support: Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, mobility, and nutritional needs, ensuring dignity, privacy, and respect are maintained at all times. Monitoring and Wellbeing: Maintain a watchful eye on residents'' general physical and emotional wellbeing, reporting any significant changes or concerns immediately to the supervising nurse or home manager. Safe Environment: Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, adhering strictly to infection control, health and safety, COSHH, and safeguarding guidelines. Emotional and Social Support: Offer companionship, active listening, and emotional reassurance to residents, encouraging social engagement and independence where possible. Accurate Record-Keeping: Document all care and food/fluid charts accurately and promptly in compliance with the care home''s standard operating procedures.
