Spire Nottingham Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our ward team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Healthcare Assistant who is passionate about delivering excellent patient care and enjoys working as part of a supportive clinical team. You''ll play a key role in helping patients feel comfortable, safe and cared for throughout their hospital stay, whilst working in a clean, modern and well-resourced environment.

Duties and responsibilities:
Working under the supervision of qualified nursing staff, you will help deliver a high standard of care to patients, ensuring their comfort, dignity and wellbeing are maintained at all times.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting patients with their individual care needs and day-to-day wellbeing
- Assisting the nursing team in delivering high-quality patient care
- Monitoring and reporting any changes in a patient''s condition to the relevant clinical staff
- Communicating effectively with patients, relatives and colleagues
- Maintaining accurate patient records in line with hospital policies and data protection requirements
- Helping to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming clinical environment
- Supporting infection prevention and control practices across the department
Who we''re looking for:
We''re looking for a caring, compassionate and motivated individual who enjoys working with people and takes pride in delivering excellent patient care.
You will have:
- Previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant within a healthcare setting
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent experience)
- Good understanding of basic nursing care
- Basic awareness of health, safety and infection control practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A professional and patient-focused approach
- Strong team working skills and a willingness to learn
- English language proficiency to IELTS 7.0 standard
