Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team in the Nottinghamshire area. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months experience of providing essential support to patients in a care home or home care setting, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role requires effective communication skills both written and verbal as well as the ability to follow care plans while working collaboratively with healthcare professionals.

Position:-Night & Day Shifts Healthcare Worker
Pay rate:--12.71 P/H (including holiday pay)

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
• Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each patient''s needs.
• Communicate effectively with residents'', families, and healthcare staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate records of patient progress and any changes in condition.
• Help with administrative tasks, including updating patient information using IT systems.
• Foster a warm and supportive environment that promotes the dignity and independence of each resident.

Experience

• At least 1 years previous experience in a care home setting.
• Strong communication skills both written and spoken in English.
• Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow them accurately is essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empathise and build rapport with residents and colleagues.
• Basic IT skills for maintaining records and documentation is preferred.
