Care workerWe are looking for compassionate, reliable and professional care workers to join our care team.The successful candidate will provide safe, respectful and person-centred care to individuals in their own homes, supported-living accommodation or other community care settings. You will support service users to maintain their independence, dignity, wellbeing and quality of life by providing the best possible care.Main Responsibilities of care worker Supporting service users with personal care, dressing, washing and toileting.Assisting with mobility, transfers and the safe use of moving-and-handling equipment.Preparing meals and supporting with nutrition and hydration.Providing medication support in accordance with training, care plans and company policy.Offering companionship, emotional support and social engagement.Supporting with light household duties and daily living activities.Following care plans, risk assessments and professional instructions.Completing accurate care records and electronic visit logs.Reporting changes in a service user''s health, behaviour or wellbeing.Recognising and reporting safeguarding, health and safety or medication concerns.Maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries.Attending mandatory training, supervision and competency assessments.About You (the care worker)You should be:Caring, patient and respectful.Reliable and punctual.Able to communicate clearly in spoken and written English.Comfortable working independently and as ..... full job details .....
