**About This Role** 

We are looking for caring and reliable Healthcare Assistants to support a gentleman in his late 50s who lives at home with his wife.
This is a rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality, person-centred care that promotes his independence, wellbeing, and ability to continue enjoying an active and fulfilling lifestyle within his local community.

He enjoys attending social, exercise, and support groups, as well as spending time on his hobbies, including poetry, painting, card games, and board games. You will support him to access these activities, maintain his interests, and continue doing the things he enjoys.

During night shifts, you will provide essential support including personal care, medication administration, catheter care, and safe moving and handling. You will also provide overnight monitoring, ensuring his safety, comfort, and wellbeing while creating a calm environment that supports a restful night's sleep.

**Clinical Experience** 

Previous experience supporting adults with complex healthcare needs is desirable. 

Where required, specialist clinical training will be provided by our highly skilled, in-house nursing team.

**Essential Requirements**

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

* Have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a professional care setting within the UK.
* Have the right to work in the UK*
* Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and person-centred care.
* Be willing to complete client-specific, clinical training where required.
* Hold a full UK driving licence 
* Be comfortable working around pets.
