      <description>Location: Burnley | Salary: &amp;pound;14 - &amp;pound;15.50/hour | Type: Permanent | We are looking for Female Healthcare Assistants  to support a young girl with complex care needs in her own home.  This is a rewarding opportunity for a caring, patient and reliable HCA who is confident supporting children with complex clinical needs.  The Role:  You will provide 1:1 care and support, helping to maintain her comfort, safety and wellbeing throughout the night.  She is non-verbal and communicates through sounds, touch and responses to those around her. She enjoys listening to lullabies, watching Disney, sensory play and spending time with her family.  Clinical Care Includes:  	 Tracheostomy care, including cleaning and tape changes 	 Prolonged ventilation 	 Oral suctioning 	 Mic-Key/GJ tube and enteral feeding 	 Medication administration via feeding tube 	 Oxygen and oxygen saturation monitoring when required 	 Seizure awareness and monitoring 	 Personal care and skin monitoring due to eczema 	 Full moving and handling support 	 Regular repositioning throughout the night   Night Shifts:  The young girl is usually settled for bed around  10:00pm  and sleeps well.
