Healthcare Assistant

We are looking for a caring and reliable Health Care Assistant to join our team at Umika Homes.

You will support residents with their day-to-day care needs, helping them maintain their dignity, independence and wellbeing in line with their individual care plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with washing, dressing, bathing, eating and other daily activities.

• Support residents at mealtimes and with drinks where required.

• Help maintain clean, tidy and safe resident and communal areas.

• Support residents to take part in activities.

• Observe and report any changes in residents’ needs or wellbeing to senior staff.

• Maintain accurate care records.

• Follow all health and safety, hygiene and care home policies.

• Work closely with Nurses, Senior Carers and the wider care team.
