This is a temporary ongoing assignment offering hybrid working arrangements and the opportunity to play a key role in promoting health and safety compliance across the borough.About the RoleYou will be responsible for carrying out inspections and enforcement activities across a variety of commercial premises, retail businesses, and other workplaces, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation. Working within a busy local authority environment, you will provide professional advice, investigate incidents and complaints, and take appropriate enforcement action where necessary.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct proactive and reactive inspections of commercial and retail premises.Assess compliance with Health and Safety legislation and associated regulations.Investigate accidents, complaints, dangerous occurrences, and workplace incidents.Prepare detailed reports, witness statements, and legal documentation.Issue enforcement notices where appropriate and support legal proceedings.Provide practical guidance and support to businesses on improving health and safety standards.Maintain ..... full job details .....
