This is a nationwide role, and we are seeking an individual who will take responsibility for ensuring compliance with legislative, corporate, and other health and safety requirements.About you
NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health, or equivalentCSCS card holder.A qualified internal health and safety auditor with demonstrable experience of completing internal audits.Lead Auditor status beneficial but not essential.An understanding of the requirements of BS OHSAS 18001:2007 and experience in facilitating registration surveillance visits.A working knowledge of current and impending health and safety legislationGood presentation, written, analytical and IT skills.Training and presentation experience throughout all levels of an organisation.Good interpersonal skills with the ability to guide and educate/train at all levelsSelf-confidence to build strong working relationships internally and externally.Demonstrable achievement in a similar roleSpecific Rail Qualifications/ExpertiseWill hold personal track safety / LUCAS / Smartcard / CTRL operators licence as applicable to the scope of work and contract worked onCDM appreciation / duties of the Principal ContractorIf your past experience doesn’t match perfectly with every requirement of the job description, we still encourage you to apply.
