Health and Safety ConsultantContract Type: Permanent – Full Time RoleWe are seeking to recruit a talented Health and Safety professional to work with both our existing and new clients. This is a highly autonomous role which reports to the Managing Director.As one of our Health and Safety Consultants your duties will include:Providing Health and Safety advice and delivery capabilities to our clients.Developing and implementing Health and Safety strategies to achieve legal compliance.Supporting clients with the development of their processes and procedures.Delivering ISO Management Standards including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 through a mix of consulting, auditing and training.Building relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their business and offer solutions.Reciprocal sharing of knowledge and experience with colleagues.Supporting colleagues and the business with business development activities to continue to grow our consultancy offering.Identifying and developing new service offerings.Contributing to company growth and objectives.To be successful in this role as a Health and Safety Consultant you will have the following skills and experience:Membership of a relevant professional body such as Chartered IOSH or Fellow IIRSM.An extensive knowledge of current Health and Safety legislation and its application to business and industry. Knowledge of the rail industry would be an advantage but not essential.Practical experience of CDM regulations and completing of inspections, audits, risk assessments and method statements.Understanding of implementing SHEQ management systems (ISO 45001/14001/9001).Excellent communication skills and an ability to keep our clients delighted.A proactive self-starter with a hands on approach, able to build relationships and networks both within and externally to our business.Strong MS Office skills, in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Self-motivated, dynamic and personable with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.Above all we value attitude and approach.The benefits of being part of our team:An exceptional mix of benefits including;A competitive salary based on experience together with a discretionary Company bonus scheme up to 10% of salary based on company profitability.
