Health, Safety Compliance Manager

We are pleased to be working with an established company based in Southampton who are looking to recruit a Health, Safety and Compliance Manager to join their friendly team. This role is responsible for ensuring the business maintains the highest standards of health and safety, while achieving and sustaining compliance with BRC Food Safety and ISO standards.You will play a key role in driving a strong safety culture, leading audits, and ensuring all processes meet regulatory and certification requirements.Ideal candidate for the Health, Safety and Compliance Manager:Experience within manufacturing / food production / etc. Lead Auditor qualification (ISO or BRC)Experience implementing or improving management systemsKey Responsibilities for Health, Safety and Compliance Manager:Manage and continuously improve the company''s Health and Safety systems and cultureEnsure full compliance with relevant legislation and industry standardsLead and maintain BRC accreditation and ISO standards (e.g. ISO 9001)Plan, conduct, and manage internal and external auditsInvestigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actionsDeliver training and guidance to staff on HandS and compliance mattersMaintain documentation, policies, and procedures in line with best practiceLiaise with regulatory bodies and external auditorsIdeal experience of Health, Safety and Compliance Manager:Proven experience in a Health and Safety and compliance roleStrong working knowledge of BRC standards ..... full job details .....
