Job Opportunity: Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSandW) ManagerLocation: Hinkley Marine Works, Royal Edward Dock, T-Berth, Avonmouth, BS11 9BW (with offshore deployment as required)Contract Rate: 640 per day (equivalent to 80/hr based on an 8-hour day)Position Type: Full-time Contract (Project Based)Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSandW) Manager to join a major marine and offshore project based out of Avonmouth. Reporting to the Head of HSandW, you will lead operational safety teams, ensure full compliance with health and safety standards, and drive the delivery of our Zero Harm culture across marine, offshore, and construction activities.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership and Resourcing: Line manage a direct team of up to 4 HSandW personnel, managing resource allocation and deployment across project sites using a risk-based approach.Site Safety and Assurance: Manage inspection and audit programs to ensure continuous compliance with Business Management Systems (BMS) and relevant regulatory frameworks.Incident Management: Lead and coordinate responses to HSandW incidents, conducting investigations, identifying root causes, tracking actions, and sharing lessons learned.Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate active employee and supply chain participation in safety initiatives, holding regular performance reviews using leading and lagging indicators.Continuous Improvement: Work alongside operational leadership to drive project-level safety ..... full job details .....
