As Thames and Chiltern’s Health, Safety and Facilities Manager your expertise will help shape the well-being and operational excellence for Area. Your responsibility extends to all aspects of Health and Safety (HandS) and Facilities Management (FM) from coordinating both hard and soft FM services that keep the CPS estate running smoothly through to ensuring our staff have a great environment to work.Every day brings new challenges as you oversee the delivery, audit, and statutory compliance of our facilities, ensuring every building in the Area is a model of best practice, maintaining important safety documentation and guaranteeing that all departmental and legal requirements are met. You will be the driving force behind a safe, compliant, and thriving workplace.Your insight, clear documentation and assurance will allow senior leaders including the Chief Crown Prosecutor, Area Business Manager, Head of Health and Safety, and Head of Business Centre to fulfil their legislative duties with confidence.You will promote a positive health and safety culture for all our staff, leading by example and setting the standard. Your support and guidance to line managers and staff, elevating their knowledge and engagement with all aspects of health and safety will help create a proactive, forward-thinking, and most importantly, safe work environment.As a member of the broader community, you will collaborate with CPS Estates, Health and Safety, and FM/HandS colleagues, sharing insights, best practice, and building a network of support to deliver a consistent, adaptable, and high-performing FM/HandS service for the Area.The Crown Prosecution Service is based in England and Wales.
