About the Role

This six-month fixed-term contract seeks a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to join a healthcare charity, working from home across England and Wales. Based in Warwick, the role pays £48,000 to £62,750 pro rata, plus mileage, with an immediate start. The successful candidate reviews and strengthens existing policies, performs gap analyses, and advises senior leadership and operational teams at multiple sites. A clinical or healthcare background is essential, alongside proven HSE expertise and the confidence to influence practice at every level. We have a really exciting 6-month FTC opportunity with a well-established healthcare charity looking for someone who can come in, hit the ground running and make a real difference to their HandS function.
You’ll work closely with senior leadership and operational teams across multiple sites throughout England and Wales, with plenty of scope to use your experience and influence how HandS is managed across the organisation.
What will you be doing£
- Reviewing and improving existing HandS policies and procedures
- Carrying out a gap analysis and identifying areas for improvement
- Visiting sites across England and Wales
- Providing senior HandS advice to operational teams and leadership
- Acting as the link between the Board and the wider business
- Helping strengthen the overall HandS framework
Who are we looking for£
We’re looking for a confident, senior HSE professional who is comfortable working independently and dealing with senior stakeholders.
Health care or clinical experience would be ideal.
Strong HandS knowledge is essential. Environmental experience is a bonus.

- 6-month FTC
- £48,000 – £62,750 pro rata
- Home-based
- Travel across England and Wales + occasional office visits
- Mileage paid for site travel
- 36 hours per week
- 3:30pm finish on Fridays
- ASAP start
