Our client are a profitable and growing global business, who are thriving within the industry, the role also supports the Group HSE systems and participates in audits at all sites. The aim is to work within a framework of continuous improvement in HSE to provide a value-added service that is both efficient and effective. Daily responsibilities: HSE system management, compliance and legislation updates. Assessments and compliance (all areas). Liaising and working with legal bodies (Health and Safety Executive, Environmental Agency, etc). HSE Group Audits. Facilitating HSE behaviour. HSE Contracts supervision, service and budget control. Fire safety and liaison with insurers. Employer s liability responsibility for UK sites. Internal training and certification to procedural standards. Promoting safety culture. Conduct safety meetings and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective actions and follow-up assessment. Provide project management team with guidance on HandS, confirming projects fulfil industry, local manuals, internal procedures and regulations.
