Health Safety and Environmental Advisor

Our client is a successful and well-established manufacturing company with sites nationwide. They are looking for an experienced Health Safety and Environmental Advisor to join them to coordinate the HSE agenda across the Chippenham site. Salary: Depending on experience (to be discussed following application) Hours of work: 37.5 hours a week, generally between 7.00am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday (flexibility will be required as the business requires) PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS: Qualified in NEBOSH / IOSH At least 5 years experience as a Health and Safety professional in a production / manufacturing / factory environment Working knowledge of current Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and its application in a manufacturing environment Knowledge and a proven track record of delivery of health, safety and environmental management systems and the provision of advice Excellent written and interpersonal skills and the ability to challenge constructively Personal commitment to the corporate values and objectives of the company, and a culture of continuous improvement (Desirable) A member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (Desirable) Continuous Improvement knowledge and training (Green belt level) Responsibilities: Lead, train, coach, and support site staff in the field of Health, Safety and Environmental improvement.
