We''re supporting a leading chemicals company operating across the UK to appoint an HSE Manager at their busy Thames Terminal. This critical role requires a proactive safety leader to oversee compliance, drive continuous improvement, and ensure the safety of personnel and operations on this busy COMAH site.The successful HSE Manager will:Act as the principal advisor on health, safety, and environment, ensuring statutory compliance and safe working practices.Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and initiatives to improve safety and environmental standards.Conduct and oversee risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits, ensuring all actions are completed effectively.Manage contractor safety processes, including permits, method statements, and hazard controls.Provide training, support, and leadership to promote a strong safety culture across the terminal.The successful HSE Manager will have:Relevant health and safety qualifications (IOSH, NEBOSH) or equivalent, with active CPD engagement.COMAH experience and / or experience in the chemical, oil and gas, energy or related industriesProven ..... full job details .....
