Health, Safety and Environment Manager

Our client is currently recruiting for a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager with a background within the construction or utilities sector to join their team. The HSE Manager will be responsible for the Health, Safety and Environmental strategy and embedding and championing HandS culturally across the organisation. Key Responsibility for the HSE Manager Develop, implement, and continuously improve the company''s Safety Management System and Policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry good standards.Establish, communicate and monitor a clear safety vision, goals, and objectives to all employees and contractorsSupport the safe delivery of our work with other internal stakeholders.Continue development of our process safety documentation working with consultants where necessaryDevelop Environmental Policies and procedures to ensure we meet our Environmental ObjectivesConduct thorough risk assessments for construction and operational activities, identifying potential hazards and implementing measures to mitigate risks.Work with department heads to monitor, update and implement RAMS on a regular basiscontractors on safe work practices, emergency procedures, and the proper use of protective equipment.Ensure the Company wide Audit and inspection scheme is delivered.Conduct routine site inspections and audits to assess compliance with safety protocols and identify any areas needing improvement.
