Health, Safety and CDM Advisor

Health, Safety and CDM Advisor required to join a leading consultancy, specialising in CDM, health and safety, risk management and environmental services. They work with a wide range of clients across sectors including commercial, engineering, education, housing associations, health, leisure and public services. This role is based on-site, so you must live within a commutable distance of Barrow-in-Furness. You will be working on both new and existing buildings located at the shipyard. Duties will include: Acting as CDM Advisor on a variety of construction projects. Ensuring compliance with CDM 2015 regulations from concept to completion. Preparing and reviewing pre-construction information and health and safety files. Advising clients, designers and contractors on their statutory duties under CDM. Carrying out site inspections and audits, providing practical, actionable feedback. Delivering training to client teams where required. Building strong, consultative relationships with clients and project stakeholders. Qualifications NEBOSH General and/or Construction Certificate or equivalent health and safety qualification Membership of IOSH, or similar professional body (TechIOSH, GradIOSH, etc.) Experience Working knowledge and experience of CDM 2015 regulations. Experience in a consultancy, construction Health and Safety role. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
