Your responsibilities as Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor
- Lead and maintain health, safety and environmental systems across the abattoir operation
- Carry out audits, inspections and risk assessments, ensuring full legislative compliance
- Investigate incidents and implement preventative actions to improve site safety
- Deliver training and guidance to promote best practice across operational teams
- Support compliance with food safety, animal welfare and regulatory standards
- Work with management and external regulators to drive continuous improvement
What we''re looking for in a Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor
- NEBOSH Diploma qualification
- Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation, environmental compliance and risk management
- Experience within meat processing, food manufacturing or another highly regulated production environment
- Understanding of HACCP, food safety systems and relevant industry standards
- Full UK driving licence
Working hours
25.5 hours per week across three days.
