We''re looking for a passionate and HCPC-registered Clinical or Health Psychologist to support children living with diabetes. If you''re at least one year post-qualification and have solid experience in health settings - especially in diabetes care - we''d love to hear from you!
What we''re looking for:
- Experience working with paediatric populations, either during training or post-qualification.
- Ideally, hands-on experience supporting children with diabetes.
- A collaborative mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality psychological care.
Your role will include:
- Assessing psychological needs of 20 children currently on our child health waiting list.
- Delivering tailored psychological interventions - from brief psychosocial support to evidence-based therapies like CBT or ACT, aligned with national guidelines.
- Providing consultation to our multidisciplinary team (MDT), including diabetes nurses and medics - whether through case discussions or joining clinic sessions remotely.
Flexibility matters: While we''d love to offer face-to-face sessions, remote delivery is possible.
