The Health Physics Monitor position comes with a salary of up to 40,000 - 45,000 DOE as well as a competitive benefits package and support with development and progression within radiation protection If you''re a Health Physics Monitor and are committed to radiation safety, have relevant radiation protection experience or qualifications, and want to work in a regulated environment where safety and compliance are paramount then submit your CV to apply today.Responsibilities and duties of the Health Physics Monitor roleReporting to the appointed RPA on-site, you will:Carry out routine and non-routine radiological monitoring and contamination surveys to ensure safe site operations.Assist in implementing radiological protection measures and controls across the facilityOperate, maintain and calibrate radiation monitoring equipment in line with site procedures.Support investigations into radiological incidents or alarm conditions and contribute to corrective actions.Record, analyse and report monitoring data in accordance with regulatory and site-specific requirements.Provide front-line support and guidance to operational staff regarding radiological safety best practices.Participate in emergency response drills and actual events as required.
