4Recruitment Services are seeking to recruit a Health Economist to support the evaluation of prevention and public health interventions through robust cost-benefit analysis (CBA). This role will focus on quantifying the economic and social benefits of prevention interventions of local residents. The ideal candidate will bring a strong grounding in economics, experience with applied policy analysis, and a deep interest in health equity and public value. This is a fast-paced, impact-focused role suited to a proactive and independent consultant who can hit the ground running. DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE Lead economic evaluations, including cost-benefit analysis, cost effectiveness of specific interventions Quantify and monetise health and social outcomes using established economic evaluation techniques Gather, clean and analyse data related to health, demographics, social outcomes and service use Develop logic models and impact pathways to understand causal links between interventions and outcomes Work closely with colleagues at the council to ensure interdisciplinary coherence Produce reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders Support stakeholders engagement by translating complex economic evidence into compelling insights ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Postgraduate degree in Economics, Heath economics, Public Policy, or related field.
