OverviewApplications are invited for an exciting opportunity to join the ward 9 nursing team in Glan Clwyd Hospital. The role will involve team working to support the Doctors and Nursing staff in supporting people in our care on a busy gastroenterology ward.

The successful candidate will be offered specific training as required to fulfil the role. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

To assist registered nurses/practitioners to deliver based care to patients/clients, working in partnership with other health care professionals, the patient their family and carers.

Deliver patient care as documented in the nursing care plan. Carry out a wide range of duties under the supervision of a registered nurse for the period of the shift.

Qualifications And Knowledge

Essential criteria: Basic numeracy and literacy skills

Essential criteria: Level 2 in health and social care or equivalent experience
