As a Care Assistant, your responsibilities may include: Supporting residents with personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting. Assisting residents with mobility and daily activities. Supporting residents with eating and drinking. Providing companionship and emotional support. Maintaining residents'' dignity, privacy and independence. Following care plans and reporting any concerns. Maintaining accurate care records where required. Working alongside other care staff to provide safe, person-centred care. Following safeguarding, infection control and health and safety procedures.
