Health Care Assistant - HMP Bronzefield Location: Middlesex-Ashford Salary: £26,000 per annum Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full Time We re looking for a compassionate and resilient Health Care Assistant to join a multidisciplinary team at HMP Bronzefield, working full-time (35 hours per week) within an integrated healthcare service. You ll deliver high-quality nursing care and psychosocial interventions within a structured prison setting, supporting patients through medical detox, recovery programmes, and complex physical, psychological, and social needs, working closely with Registered Nurses and the wider clinical team to provide safe, person-centred care. What you ll be doing Supporting assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of patient care Delivering 1:1 interventions aligned to individual recovery and treatment plans Assisting with medical detox, observations, and medication support (including controlled drug checks) Monitoring, recording, and reporting on physical and mental health changes Supporting 12 Step recovery work and health promotion activities Carrying out brief crisis interventions when required Participating in community and code of conduct meetings Maintaining accurate electronic clinical records and supporting KPI delivery What we re looking for Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills Confidence working in secure environments with clear boundaries and procedures ..... full job details .....
