We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Care Assistants to join our friendly team in Burton. HoursHours:

DAYS Tues, Weds, Thurs and Fri 3-5 hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

Learning to understand the clients’ specific needs and abilities, while focusing on her individual strengths and interests.

Assist with some personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and toileting and with eating and drinking.

Support with mobility, repositioning and safe transfers.

Help with daily living activities such as meal preparation, shopping, and light housekeeping.

Build positive relationships with service users, encouraging their independence and dignity. Also providing emotional support and companionship.

Providing respite care where appropriate.

Monitor and report on changes in health and well-being to family and senior staff.

Qualifications and What We’re Looking For

A compassionate nature and genuine desire to help others.

An applicant who is creative and has an interest in Music, Drama, Art and technology.

A minimum of 6 months care experience is essential.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

On rare occasions there may be a need for flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

A full Enhanced DBS check will be required for all successful candidates.
