Bay Court Nursing Home, a Nursing and Residential home in the seaside town of Budleigh Salterton, is registered to accept 29 residents. We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable person with a good sense of humour and a passion for making a difference to people20s lives to join our hard working and dedicated team.Responsibilities
Assist residents with all aspects of personal care (toileting, bathing and dressing) whilst encouraging independence and ensuring dignity and respect at all times.Enhance and promote residents20 quality of life.Ensure high levels of person-centred care.Ensure every resident is treated with warmth, respect and kindness.Comply with all Manual Handling and Health and Safety Equipment Policies.Assist residents with life-story materials and encourage discussions about their interests, memories and ambitions.Maintain all residents20 records and provide written and verbal reports, ensuring confidentiality.Work independently and as part of a team.Requirements
Experience: One year providing care.NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care (preferred but not essential).Hard-working, honest and reliable.Willing to learn and expand knowledge of care.Rewards and Benefits
