Health Care Assistant

Health Care Assistant, Nursing home 
 

Hours: 44 hours per week (Full-time or Part-time), permanent contract 
Shifts:

• Day: 08:00 – 20:00

• Night: 20:00 – 08:00

• Includes weekends and bank holidays on rota 

Main Duties for Healthcare Assistant 

• Assist residents with personal care (washing, dressing, eating, mobility)

• Support residents’ daily activities and independence

• Follow individual care plans

• Record notes such as food/fluid intake and daily observations

• Respond to call bells and assist residents when needed 

Requirements for HCA

• At least 1 year care experience preferred

• Right to work in the UK

• Good communication skills and interest in elderly care
