We have an amazing opportunity to reskill in into an Assessor role within Health Care

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong industry experience who wants to build a rewarding career in training and assessment. Full support will be provided to achieve your assessor qualification if required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Trained to manage and support a caseload of learners across your region.
  • Carry out workplace assessments and provide constructive feedback.
  • Coach and motivate learners to achieve their qualifications on time.
  • We will provide you with skills to develop individual learning plans and monitor learner progress.
  • Build strong relationships with employers to support learner success.
  • Maintain accurate learner records and ensure compliance with awarding body requirements.
  • Deliver an engaging learner experience while promoting equality, safeguarding and professional standards.
  • Good career opportunity

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum Level-3 NVQ/QCF Health & Social Care (Adults)
  • Occupational experience within the relevant vocational sector.
  • Passion for developing and supporting others.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills.
  • IT literate with good administrative skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
  • Willingness to work towards a recognised Assessor Qualification (CAVA/TAQA) if not already qualified.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and learner welfare.

Desirable

  • Assessor qualification (CAVA, TAQA or equivalent).
  • Experience assessing apprenticeships or work-based learning programmes.
  • Knowledge of awarding body requirements and quality assurance.
  • Essential Skills or Functional Skills delivery experience.
  • Welsh language skills are an advantage.
