We are working with a large SEN school in Stockport to recruit calm and compassionate learning support assistants to join their team in September.The school supports pupils aged between 4-19, with complex learning needs, providing sensory support.As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:Support pupils 1:1, providing sensory and academic supportMaintain regular communication with parents and other staff members to monitor progressCreate and prepare fun and engaging learning resourcesRequirements:A Level 3 Diploma, or equivalent in Health and Social CarePrevious work experience supporting complex needs within a school or care setting is preferredA calm, compassionate natureTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:Hold Right to Work in the UKHold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new applicationProvide two professional child related references that cover the last two yearsOTHERIf you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
