This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher with experience delivering Health and Social Care or related vocational qualifications at Key Stage 4 and/or Key Stage 5.The role may be offered on a long-term or full-time basis for the right candidate.The RoleAs a Health and Social Care Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and meaningful lessons that support pupils in developing both academic understanding and sector-specific knowledge. Responsibilities may include:Delivering Health and Social Care lessons at KS4 and/or KS5Teaching BTEC, CACHE or equivalent vocational qualificationsSupporting pupils with coursework and portfolio-based assessmentsPlanning engaging lessons linked to real-world Health and Social Care contextsMonitoring progress and supporting pupils to meet qualification criteriaWorking collaboratively with departmental staff and senior leadersThe Ideal Candidate Will HaveExperience teaching Health and Social Care in a Secondary school or FE settingQTS or a relevant teaching qualification (or strong sector experience)Experience delivering vocational or coursework-based qualificationsStrong classroom management and organisational skillsA positive, professional and ..... full job details .....
