Health and Safety Trainer

Health and Safety Trainer | Southam, CV47 0FS | Full Time | £35,000–£45,000 per annum, negotiable depending on experience

Our client has been operating since 1984, providing health and safety training services to a wide portfolio of clients. They deliver customised training courses designed to meet client needs, with a focus on ensuring delegates gain both the required certification and the skills and confidence to apply their learning in their chosen vocation.

The Role

They are seeking a Senior Health and Safety Trainer to deliver a variety of Health and Safety training courses, including IOSH and some NEBOSH programmes. Training will be delivered at their Midlands training facilities, remotely via Teams or Zoom, at client sites nationwide across the UK.

Due to the diversity of their clients and candidates, no training course is ever the same. You will work with people from a range of backgrounds and learning styles, requiring you to remain engaging and adaptable while delivering training to the required standard.

Delivery of training at client premises is a significant part of the role, so a willingness to travel UK-wide is required. This is an opportunity to join an established Health and Safety company with further growth plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver general and specific Health and Safety courses, including IOSH and some NEBOSH
• Develop and design new Health and Safety courses to reflect changes in legislation
• Maintain a professional company image when dealing with customers
• Assist and cooperate with colleagues to ensure a professional service through collaboration and information sharing
• Report to the Director

Requirements

Essential

• Significant experience in the Health and Safety field
• Appropriate training qualifications
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels
• Flexibility and willingness to travel UK-wide
• Good computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office applications

Desirable

• Experience delivering NEBOSH programmes
