Health And Safety Officer

Key Responsibilities Be the day-to-day HandS contact being visible and interacting with the wider business. Monitor HandS processes and support the resolution of identified issues with the relevant manager. Ensure legal requirements such as risk assessments are in place and being maintained. Oversee incident reporting process to ensure timely completion of investigation and action requirements. Assist with training to increase HandS awareness and competency. Support environmental matters and form part of the wider EHS Team. Improve HandS performance by aligning ways of working and processes across the business Requirements: HandS background with experience across a wide range of HandS topics. Strong understanding of HandS legislation and compliance requirements. NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent qualification) and experience required. Self-starter with an analytical and methodical approach to work, able to both complete tasks and develop new systems as necessary. Professional manner with strong interpersonal/communication skills and persuasive abilities. Confident user of Microsoft Office and business applications.
