This is an opportunity to join a growing third generation family business and lead a function that has a direct impact on the wellbeing of every colleague on site.What You''ll DoYou''ll run a stand alone, proactive Health and Safety service that strengthens culture, builds awareness, and ensures compliance across the operation. Your work will help teams understand risk, follow safe systems of work, and continuously improve standards.Key responsibilities include:• Partner with senior leaders and line managers to provide clear, practical advice on policies, safe operating procedures and risk assessments.• Support HR and Technical teams with safety elements of internal and external audits.• Develop and deliver workplace Health and Safety plans in line with legal requirements.• Prepare and embed policies and procedures that promote a consistent safety culture.• Assess practices, equipment and facilities to ensure legal and company compliance.• Carry out inspections across operations, identifying risks and driving action plans.• Manage statutory inspections for lifting equipment, fork-lift trucks, fire extinguishers, ladders and racking.• Lead incident and ..... full job details .....
