Health and Safety Officer
UK (Hybrid) | 12-Month FTC | Up to £50,000 + Benefits | Regular Travel
We are supporting a well-established, global organisation providing a range of insurance services, claims management, and technology solutions across the insurance market. They are looking to appoint a Health and Safety Officer on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This role sits within a small Workplace and Real Estate team, reporting into the HSE Manager, and will take ownership of health and safety across a UK-wide office portfolio. It is a hands-on position with a high level of autonomy and visibility, with potential to become permanent.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with UK HandS legislation across multiple sites
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and support incident investigations
- Lead fire safety and workplace HandS activities
- Act as a key advisor to internal stakeholders
- Support ISO and management systems
- Manage day-to-day HandS responsibilities independently
Candidate Profile
- NEBOSH qualified (or equivalent)
- Circa 3+ years’ HandS experience
- Experience in corporate, property, or multi-site environments preferred (internal)
- Strong knowledge of HandS compliance and regulations
- Exposure to ISO systems

Location
