Due to this, they are seeking an experienced and passionate Health and Safety officer to join their team and help improve the day-to-day HandS policies, systems and more of the business!Offering a highly competitive salary, benefits package as well as several perks, this is an excellent time to continue to progress in your Health and Safety career within a fast-paced manufacturing environment!The health and safety officer will work under the and Production and Facilities manager and alongside the shop floor teams, to continue to look after health and safety processes within the site.Key Responsibilities and Duties:Carry out daily, weekly, monthly toolbox talks and training with shop floor staff and supporting staff.Develop, implement, and maintain EHandS policies, procedures, and systems in line with UK legislation and industry best practices. Support sustainability initiatives and environmental compliance, including waste management, emissions control, and energy efficiency. Conduct risk assessments and auditsCarry out inspections across the site to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
