You''ll have real ownership and the authority to drive change across the business.The businessA company with a strong, close-knit reputation want a Health and Safety Manager who can take the reigns of this exciting opportunity.The role Act as the company''s lead competent person for Health and SafetyDevelop, implement and monitor procedures and safe systems of workPrepare and review RAMS for all worksCarry out regular site inspections, audits and safety walksOversee subcontractor vetting, inductions and on-site complianceLead incident investigations and drive a proactive near-miss reporting cultureReport to the MD on safety performance, trends and key risksChair the HandS committee, deliver in-house training and manage accreditation renewalsLine manage and develop a Health and Safety Officer What you''ll bring 5+ years'' Health and Safety experience at management levelNEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent)Strong working knowledge of UK HandS legislationExperience managing main contractors and subcontractorsThe confidence to challenge and influence at every level, from site teams to senior leadershipA full UK driving licenceTech IOSH and First Aid at Work would be advantageous.
