Health and Safety ManagerHerts, Berks, Derbyshire or Manchester (national travel) Permanent £50KExcellent opportunity working as part of a large Health and Safety team for a chemical manufacturing and engineering business. The company in question works with a number of a high-profile clients and you will be exposed to a number of a innovative projects and diverse risks. The role will involve national travel (2-3 days per week) and you can be based from any of the company''s offices in Berkshire, Hertfordshire, Derbyshire or Manchester. The Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for: Assisting the Health and Safety Leader and Head of Department in managing daily deliverables and workflow, ensuring timely delivery of stakeholder requirements.Mentor Health and Safety Advisors and ensure continuous personal development.Developing and reviewing health and safety audit plans and schedules, ensure timely completion of incident investigations and lessons learned, and maintain up-to-date health and safety documents in line with new legislation and practices.Planning and reviewing health and safety training components of the corporate training matrix, develop knowledge and skills in the area of specialism, and be a key part of the site Emergency Response Team. The Health and Safety Manager will have: NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) strongly desirable.
