Health and Safety Manager

Health and Safety Manager Leicestershire Full time or part time UK site travel £38,000-£40,000 negotiable We are supporting a growing electrical and renewable energy contractor looking for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to lead safety across its business and UK project sites. The role is available on either a full-time or part-time basis. Working closely with Directors, Project Managers, site teams and subcontractors, you will provide practical advice, strengthen existing processes and help build a positive safety culture. This is a varied role combining site visits with office-based work. The role - Carry out site inspections, audits and health and safety reviews. - Review RAMS, risk assessments, safe systems of work and Construction Phase Plans. - Advise project teams on safe working practices and UK health and safety requirements. - Monitor subcontractor compliance and support supply chain checks. - Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, and follow through on corrective actions. - Deliver toolbox talks, briefings and training. - Improve policies, procedures, reporting and record keeping. - Support the implementation of ISO 45001 and maintain relevant accreditations. About the Health and Safety Manager You will have experience in a site-focused health and safety role within construction, engineering, electrical contracting, MandE or a related sector.
