Health and Safety Manager 350 - 400 per dayFully Site-Based - Bournemouth6 months plus durationFree Parking HandS Manager - Hospital Project - BournemouthThis leading Tier 1 main contractor has an immediate requirement for a freelance Health and Safety Manager to work on a 90m hospital project in Bournemouth, Dorset.The project is a new 4 level hospital building , of modular construction, featuring 110 new beds and improved facilities.As the site based Health and Safety Manager you will take full ownership of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance on a high-profile hospital construction project in Bournemouth . The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the site operates to the highest standards of safety and environmental management in line with UK legislation, company procedures, and industry best practice.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure full compliance with all relevant HandS and Environmental legislation, company policies, and project-specific requirements.Develop, implement, and monitor site-specific HandS plans, risk assessments, and method statements.Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and behavioural safety observations.Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis with appropriate reporting and corrective actions.Liaise with project management, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies to drive a culture of continuous improvement in HandS performance.Maintain accurate HandS records, including training, permits, inspections, and environmental ..... full job details .....
