Environmental, Health and Safety (EHandS) ManagerAnnual Salary: £45,000-£55,000Location: LancasterJob Type: Full-timeWe are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety (EHandS) Manager to lead EHandS strategy at a manufacturing facility in Lancaster. This role is ideal for a seasoned EHandS professional who is passionate about fostering a positive safety culture and leading environmental compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.Day-to-day of the role:Lead the site''s Environmental, Health and Safety Management Systems.Drive a proactive safety culture across the business.Manage compliance with environmental permits and legislation.Act as the site''s primary contact with the Environment Agency and other regulatory bodies.Support and develop departmental Risk Assessors and oversee the digital risk assessment programme.Facilitate the site EHandS Committee, ensuring effective employee consultation, monitoring actions, and driving continuous improvement.Lead accident, incident, and environmental investigations to ensure effective corrective actions.Manage internal EHandS audits, external inspections, and certification activities.Monitor EHandS performance and report meaningful KPIs to the leadership team.Identify opportunities to improve environmental performance and sustainability.Provide practical advice, coaching, and training to managers and employees.Support operational teams to deliver their products safely.Required Skills and Qualifications:Degree in ..... full job details .....
